Ramesh Rajan

Ramesh has over 20 years of experience as an operations leader within the medical device industry whose passions include continuous improvement, project management, and building empowered teams. He has guided manufacturing companies through successful operational and financial turnarounds. Ramesh promotes innovation while driving efficiency and effectiveness across the supply chain using operational excellence tools. Ramesh joined Magnolia Medical Technologies as the Senior Director of Operations in January 2024 and is responsible for all manufacturing related activities that includes growing and scaling up operations, leading end-to-end contract manufacturing, and playing a key role with operations deliverables.

Most recently, Ramesh served as the Senior Director, Operations for the Intersect ENT business that was subsequently acquired by Medtronic. In this role, he was responsible for directing production operations and manufacturing engineering teams post-acquisition. His most significant achievement was in driving the manufacturing team to double production using lean methodologies that helped in scaling up and meeting Medtronic’s global customer demand. Prior to Medtronic, he held various leadership roles in operations and operational excellence between 2011 to 2022 at Johnson & Johnson, Sterigenics, Covidien (Now Medtronic) and drove projects that had a significant positive impact to the organization’s value stream.

Ramesh attended the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign and received his Master of Business Administration Degree in General Management. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Lamar University.
